What to decide before you start.

Schools, PTAs, teams, churches, Scout troops, bands, and nonprofits can inquire. Colonel Pop's reviews each request and follows up about timing and logistics before a campaign goes live.

  • Your goal and timing. Explain what you are raising money for and when you need it. Discuss the order deadline and distribution plan before sharing a selling link.
  • Your participants. Decide who will sell and who will coordinate the group. Each participant can share a personal link; supporters who use the main fundraiser page can enter the participant's full name.
  • Pickup or shipping. Fundraiser pickup is available only when the campaign offers it. Plan who will distribute those orders and how supporters will receive the instructions.

Fundraising is available for North Carolina organizations, including the Triangle and surrounding communities. Tell us where your group is based so we can discuss timing and any pickup arrangements before you begin.

Understand the 50/50 split.

Your organization keeps half of merchandise sales. Shipping charges and applicable tax are separate and do not increase the merchandise amount used for the split.

For example, $2,000 in merchandise sales means $1,000 for your organization before any adjustments for refunded merchandise. This is an illustration, not a predicted result.

The calculator below helps you explore a goal. Actual results depend on participation and orders.

Plan for orders after closing.

Fundraiser orders are produced after the campaign closes. The goal is to ship complete orders within one to five business days after closing; organization readiness can affect timing.

Shipping is available to the 48 contiguous states and Washington, DC, including PO boxes. Fundraiser pickup follows the campaign's distribution instructions. Direct online shop orders are shipping-only.
